HAPE New Year! Looking back at our journey in 2019

Cuba, US, Africa, Europe

The beginning of the year is a good time for everyone to look back at their journey and where it took them...
HAPE Collective started in Havana in the spring of 2016 from the idea of creating a platform where alternative music and artists could be discovered by an audience hungry for something new. The vast musical talent, the turn-over of DJs visiting, the beautiful locations that the city has to offer, and most importantly the audience, made Havana a very fertile ground for this idea.

A summer of discoveries for HAPE Brussels

A summer of discoveries for HAPE Brussels

Brussels, Belgium, Summer 2019

The HAPE Brussels crew hosted some old and new friends during the summer season, swinging back and forth from Chez Ta Mère to Woodpecker in Parc Central. DJ Wait&See and DJ Zwalla have welcomed them with groove as opening and closing acts.

After a break in preparation of PULO NDJ’s Africa tour, HAPE BXL will come back in 2020 with other hidden gems from Europe, Africa and Latin America, trying to placate your thirst of new musical discoveries!

Brussels, Belgium, 24 November 2018

HAPE BXL had a special edition with a line-up de fogo (and a Brazilian touch!). Go Dugong is one of the most interesting young Italian producers (check out his last album, Curaro - a trip into roots, mythology and new sounds). He came to HAPE BXL#8 under the hat of Balera Favela, a super hot party Milan where Go Dugong and his gang hit it hard every month with some explosive dj sets of baile funk and Brazilian music.
