The HAPE Brussels crew hosted some old and new friends during the summer season, swinging back and forth from Chez Ta Mère to Woodpecker in Parc Central. DJ Wait&See and DJ Zwalla have always welcomed them with groove as opening and closing acts.
After a break in preparation of PULO NDJ’s Africa tour, HAPE BXL will come back in 2020 with other hidden gems from Europe, Africa and Latin America, trying to placate your thirst of new musical discoveries!
El Individuo (Cuba)
Born in raised in Havana, Cuba's 10 de Octubre neighborhood, El Individuo is a burgeoning voice from the Cuban hip hop scene. As an MC, he has been nationally and internationally acclaimed for his clever lyricism and narrative abilities, and has been covered by outlets including The New York Times, The FADER and NPR. His music is grounded in a hip hop tradition but spans a range of musical abilities that has allowed him to collaborate with artists of different genres and schools.
FREEZ (solo) (USA/France)

Team Kumba (Rwanda)
Team Kumba is a musical and art collective based in Rwanda that aims to create Electronic underground scene in Rwanda through music, culture , arts and educational activities.
DJ MOTARI and DJ KAVUMBI, both founding members of Team Kumba traveled to non-access parties’s area around Rwanda and East Africa playing free day club and give workshops on music, dance, Photography and arts with a focus of promoting the culture of free expression within non access opportunities’ villages around Africa.
Balera Favela is the name of the club night, based in Milan, set up by Ckrono, Go Dugong and @prp - which focuses on the exploration of contaminated dance music coming from from all over the world, crossing all kinds of geographical and cultural barriers. From kuduro to baile funk, passing through salsa, cumbia, palenque, bhangra, and much more, a journey of music and sounds!
In a few months the project has gained the attention of the public and specialized critics, being hosted on increasingly important stages throughout Italy and launching various features and collaborations with foreign artists.
