Specializing in warm electronic music, Poirier is a prolific, creative and eclectic Canadian producer/musician/DJ. Constant in his albums and performances is a desire to build bridges between different languages, communities, and cultures. His open, uninhibited musical mind means that his works bend boundaries, resulting in compositions that mix several styles and eras. Based in Montreal, he tours constantly, having delivered his brand of music and openness to people in over 30 countries worldwide (Uganda, South Africa, Haiti, Cuba, China, Mexico, UK, Switzerland, France / Reunion / Mayotte, Russia, Belgium, Australia – to name only a few) and he has performed in major festivals, such as BoomTown Festival, Dour Festival, Igloofest, Big Day Out, Montreux Jazz Festival, Garorock, Sonar Festival, Nyege Nyege Festival, Piknic Electronik, Cervantino Festival, Mutek and many more. Active in Montreal, his successful monthly dance party Qualité de Luxe is dedicated to African and Caribbean music, attracting capacity crowds for over five years. Poirier is also the man behind Bounce le Gros and Karnival, parties with legendary status in Montreal nightlife history. He produced a total of 10 albums and many EPs with labels such as Wonderwheel Recordings and Ninja Tune and created a remix album of legendary Quebec songwriter Robert Charlebois. Winner of the ADISQ award of the Producer of the Year with producer/singer Boogat in 2013, Poirier also released 2016’s "Migration", an album full of reggae, electronic music, dancehall and dub. In 2017, he followed up with “Be Alright”, an EP inspired by Afro house music and featuring a collaboration with the Mozambican-Canadian singer Samito on the anthem "Sowia". 2019 will see the release of several new songs inspired by Poirier's travels abroad and his beloved city of Montreal.

Born in Port Anthonio in 1969, DjDoctor Pepper Jamaica started deejaying in 1990 with boomboxes (tape recorders) at soundsystem clashes. Since then, he hasn’t stopped spreading his passion for reggae culture. Outstanding MC and selecta, he founded in 1995 with his brother DJ Jagga the LoveStone Soundsystem that became quickly one of the biggest sounds in Portland. They performed for many years all over Jamaïca, on various festivals and huge street parties from noon till noon gathering up to 10000 people. They also backed up lots of great artists - Sizzla, Capleton, I-Wayne, Richie Spice, Louis Culture to name a few.
Since his arrival in Brussels in 2010, DjDoctor Pepper Jamaica has played in countless places in Belgium. Last year, he has warmed up the Zappa in Antwerp for the concerts of Tarrus Riley, Capleton and Jah Mason.

Maria is a Brussels-based freelance architect and visual artist.
Her experience in architecture came together with her passion for visuals to develop sophisticated and colorful video mapping on handmade structures for events and festivals. Over the last year she's been a close and frequent collaborators of both Giraffes & Penguins and Global Hybrid Records.
