On January 31st HAPE returned to the Castillo de Los Jardines de La Tropical, a castle built in 1911 inspired by the Alhambra in Granada and its Nasrid style. Special thanks for the beautiful night go to the artists:

Andrés Levín & Habana Roots Ensemble. The band is formed by the Grammy award winner producer Andrés Levín together with some of the most promising young musical talents of Havana:

Musical director and electric guitar: Andrés Levín.

Voices: Isla Ochoa, María Fernanda Marín Alvariño, Yessica Borroto, Oscar Eduardo Sánchez Tamayo, Julio César García Quintana, Claudia Lucia Portuondo Álvarez, Félix Román.

Band: Leyssy O'Farrill Nicholas, María Carla Puga Marín, Anthuan Perugorría LaFuente, Melanie Lavastida, Alejandro Delgado Rodríguez, Marcos García, Roxana Benítez Rojas, Ana María Torres Abella, María Isabel González Marín, Mauricio Gutiérrez Upmann.

The band’s high energy transmitted in the form of a mix of carabean, Cuban, African and urban sounds enthralled the crowd, as shown in this video by Francesco Meliciani.
