On Saturday, April 26, 2025, HAPE Collective returned to Havana with “Havana Meets Brazil” –a vibrant fusion of Cuban, Brazilian, and global sounds. Hosted in the stunning and recently restored LÍNEA Arte Contemporáneo in Vedado, it was a night to remember!
The line-up
The dance floor was on fire thanks to a stellar roster of Cuban and Brazilian DJs and producers who delivered sets:
Mista Savona & Mapu
Gael Rochael Veludo Festival’s producer from Minas Gerais wowed with Brazilian music, techno, and house.
Mavie – Mascate Club’s resident from Belo Horizonte dropped house and dance grooves
Mapu – Veludo’s Festival resident brought an eclectic mix of beats.
Cami Layé Okún – Havana’s own DJ/vinyl digger from around the world (and beyond)
Mista Savona – The Havana Meets Kingston producer and birthday star had everyone celebrating in style with a memorable set!
Landeep – HAPE’s own resident DJ with his signature energy and style
Mista Savona also premiered his brand new track which promises to be a hit – a blend of Cuban and Brazilian beats featuring Brenda Navarrete, co-produced with Dj Jigue.
The Venue: LÍNEA Arte Contemporáneo
LÍNEA Arte Contemporáneo
“Havana meets Brazil” unfolded at LÍNEA Arte Contemporáneo, a breathtaking new creative space in Vedado, initiated by Cuban artist Wilfredo Prieto.
The villa was built in 1888 for Don Francisco López García, and was completely restored by Infraestudio —the Havana-based architecture firm founded by Anadis González and Fernando Martirena.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, danced with us, and made this night one to remember!
