Overlooking Havana’s rooftops, we hosted a special event featuring Gilles Peterson and the artists involved in the of the Album ¡Subelo Cuba¡, fruit of the collaboration between Gilles Peterson, Will LV and Guampara Productions and with the support of Havana Cultura and HAPE.
The live shows , filmed for the documentation accompanying the launch of the Subelo Cuba Album, featured the new generation of Cuban musicians: DJ Jigüe y El Menor, Yissy & Bandancha, Yasek Manzano, EL Negro Wadpro, El Individuo, Niño Fony, Sigrid, Luz de Cuba
The night closed with a rare set of the Gilles Peterson, founder of Talkin’ Loud, Acid Jazz and Brownswood music labels, propeller of music careers from Jamiroquai to Dayme Arocena and the foremost discoverer and promoter of new sounds through his radio program WorldwideShow on BBC.
